Keep to one headline, one identifier and one contact method. At 18 x 24, a headline set around 3 to 4 inches tall reads from roughly 60 feet. Keep all text 0.5 in inside the trim and add 0.125 in bleed; the artwork guidelines page has the template.
Single or double sided
Double sided adds roughly $2 per sign and doubles the traffic that can read it. If cars pass from both directions, or the sign sits at a corner, double sided is the cheaper impression.
