Double sided signs age evenly
A double sided sign facing the street gets sun on one face in the morning and the other in the afternoon, so both sides fade at a similar rate. A single sided sign on a south facing lawn fades fastest. If one face matters most, point it north or east.
What the material handles
Coroplast is fluted polypropylene. It does not absorb water, so sprinklers, rain and morning dew do not swell or weaken it. It stays flat between about 0 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit. The printed face is the part that ages: UV inks hold their color for roughly 1 to 2 years of direct sun, and noticeably longer in shade or on a north facing wall.
What makes a sign fail
Wind is the main cause. A sign that flexes back and forth on its stake slowly widens the flutes where the prongs enter until it sits loose. Push the stake all the way in, keep the bottom edge a few inches above the grass, and in exposed spots turn the sign edge on to the prevailing wind. Lawn mower and trimmer strikes are the second most common cause.
Storing signs between uses
Pull the sign off the stake, wipe it with a damp cloth and store it flat, indoors, out of sun. Stacked flat in a garage, signs keep for years and can be reused for recurring open houses, seasonal sales or annual events. Store stakes separately so the prongs do not scratch the print.
Reordering
Your design stays the same, so a reorder is quick. One 18 x 24 double sided sign is $17.99, ten are $12.99 each ($129.90). Orders before 10:30am PT print the same business day.

Questions about how long yard signs last
Will sprinklers ruin a coroplast sign?
No. Coroplast does not absorb water. Sprinklers and rain do not damage it.
How long does the print last in sun?
About 1 to 2 years in full sun before fading is obvious, longer in shade.
Why does my sign get loose on the stake?
Wind flexes the sign and widens the flutes over time. Push the stake fully in and keep the sign edge on to the wind.
Can I reuse signs?
Yes. Store them flat indoors out of the sun and they can be reused for years.
Do you cover fading?
Fading from normal sun exposure is not a defect. Print defects are reprinted or refunded within 14 days of delivery.
