Terms of Service

The agreement that governs orders placed with Bannerology, including artwork approval, turnaround and liability.

Last updated August 16, 2026US ordersCustom-made goods

These Terms of Service govern your use of bannerology.com and any order you place with Bannerology. By placing an order you accept these terms.

1. Custom-made products

Nearly everything we sell is manufactured to your specification and cannot be resold. Custom printed items are therefore final sale and are not eligible for buyer's-remorse returns. Defects, production errors and shipping damage are covered by our reprint & refund policy.

2. Orders, quotes and pricing

Prices shown are per unit in US dollars before quantity discounts, applicable sales tax and shipping. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Sizes are nominal within standard production tolerance, and finished dimensions may vary by up to 1/8 in per linear foot. We may correct obvious pricing or typographical errors and cancel the affected order with a full refund.

3. Artwork and proofs

  • You are responsible for the content you submit, including spelling, grammar, phone numbers, dates, layout and color intent.
  • Approving a proof — in the Design Studio or by email — authorizes production exactly as shown. Errors present in an approved proof are not eligible for a free reprint.
  • We print from the file you supply. Low-resolution, RGB-only or improperly bled files may print soft or crop; we will flag obvious problems, but final approval is yours.
  • Screen color is not a contract proof. Printed color may vary approximately 5-10 percent from what a monitor displays. Request a PMS-matched hard proof if exact color is critical.

4. Intellectual property

You represent that you own or are licensed to reproduce all trademarks, logos, photographs and text you submit, and you indemnify Bannerology against third-party claims arising from that content. We may decline any order, and we do not print content that is unlawful, infringing, or that we reasonably consider hateful or obscene. Site content, templates and Design Studio artwork remain our property or that of our licensors and may be used only to design goods you purchase from us.

5. Turnaround, shipping and risk of loss

Printed next business day refers to production time after artwork approval, not delivery. Transit time is additional and set by the carrier. Turnaround and delivery dates are estimates; we are not liable for carrier delays, weather, or events outside our control. Title and risk of loss pass on delivery to the carrier, and shipping damage is handled under the reprint policy when reported within the stated window.

6. Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of order unless we have approved terms in writing. You authorize us to charge the payment method provided for the order total, including tax and shipping. Chargebacks filed before contacting support may delay resolution of an otherwise valid claim.

7. Cancellations and changes

Because production begins quickly, cancellation or change requests must reach us before the file goes to press. Once printing has started the order cannot be cancelled, and any material or press time already consumed is non-refundable. Email support@bannerology.com immediately with your order number.

8. Warranty and disclaimer

We warrant that products will be free from material manufacturing defects and will substantially match the approved proof. Outdoor products are consumables subject to sun, wind and installation conditions; normal fading, abrasion and wind damage after delivery are not defects. Except as stated, products are provided "as is" and we disclaim all other warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for the affected item, at our option as a reprint or a refund. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost event revenue, venue fees, installation labor or missed opportunities.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting support. Unresolved disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in effect when you place an order governs that order. Questions: support@bannerology.com.
