What to put on it
Company or project name, one line of what is happening (Coming Soon, Now Leasing, Now Hiring), and a phone number or web address in letters at least 5 inches tall so it reads from the street.
The size most people choose
A 4 x 8 ft banner covers a full construction fence panel or the face of a sheet of plywood. Contractors, developers and event organizers use it for job site and entrance signage. It is $67.99 for one and $63.23 each at 5 or more. Other sizes run from 2 x 4 ft at $21.99 to 4 x 10 ft at $83.99.
How to hang it
On chain link, run a zip tie through each grommet and around the wire, pulling the corners first and then the middle. On wood, use exterior screws with washers through the grommets. Between two posts, run rope through the top and bottom grommets. For a wall, use adhesive hooks indoors or screws outdoors. On a fence that catches a lot of wind, ask for pole pockets or cut a few half moon wind slits so the banner does not act like a sail.
Files, templates and proofs
Design it online from a template, type your text into the quick builder on the vinyl banners page, or upload your own file. Send a PDF, PNG or JPG at 96.5 x 48.5 inches, which is the trim size plus 0.25 inch bleed on each edge, at 100 DPI: 9650 x 4850 pixels. Half scale at 200 DPI gives the same pixel count. Keep text at least 1 inch inside the trim. There is no proof step, so check spelling, dates and phone numbers before you order.
How long 13 oz vinyl lasts outdoors
13 oz scrim vinyl printed with UV inks holds its color for about 3 to 5 years outdoors. Wind is the main wear point, at the grommets, so pull every grommet snug rather than tying only the corners. Roll it print side out for storage, never fold it.

Fence Banner questions
What size fits a chain link panel?
Most construction fence panels are about 6 ft tall. A 4 x 8 ft or 3 x 6 ft banner fits with room to tie off.
How do I attach it?
Zip ties or bungee balls through each grommet, corners first.
Will it tear in wind?
Scrim vinyl is reinforced and the grommets sit in a double hem. Tie every grommet, not only the corners.
How long does it last outside?
About 3 to 5 years of outdoor use. 13 oz scrim vinyl with UV inks.
How fast does it ship?
Ships in 1 to 2 business days, then carrier transit of 2 to 5 business days. Shipping is $9.95 on orders under $99.00 and free at $99.00 and above.
