The arithmetic of a second face
A second sign costs a full sign price plus a second stake. A second face costs roughly two dollars. If traffic reaches the location from both directions, double sided halves your cost per person who actually reads the sign.
When single sided is the right call
One-way streets, signs mounted against a wall or fence, and interior directional signs only ever face one way. In those cases single sided is the honest saving — about a dollar per sign at 12 x 18 and two at 24 x 36.
Mirrored arrows and reversed layouts
Directional signs need the arrow mirrored on the back so it still points the same physical direction. Send both faces as separate pages in one PDF, or check design help and tell us which way it should point.

- Is a double sided sign twice the price?
- No. Double sided is roughly $2 more per sign than single sided at 18 x 24 — the board and the stake are the same, only the second print pass is added.
- Can the two sides have different artwork?
- Yes. Supply a two-page PDF, one page per face, at no extra charge.
- Does a double sided sign need a different stake?
- No. The same galvanized H-stake is included and slides into the same flutes.
