When to size up from 18 x 24
Use 24 x 36 when traffic passes at 35 mph or more, when the sign sits well back from the road, or when the message needs more than a headline and a phone number — land listings, new construction, sponsor walls and multi-line job site notices.
Wind and staking
A 24 x 36 board catches noticeably more wind than an 18 x 24. One H-stake is included per sign and holds in normal conditions; on exposed corners or open land, order a second stake's worth of signs' coverage by double-staking, or frame-mount the board.
Artwork at this size
Supply files at 100 DPI at full size — 2400 x 3600 pixels — with 0.125 in bleed and 0.5 in safety margin. Photographic backgrounds hold up well at this size because UV latex prints edge to edge with no banding.
