Use a short headline at each decision point: used cars, service entrance, customer parking or this week's sale. An 18 x 24 panel can carry a clear offer and one contact line without forcing the main letters to shrink. Position signs on permitted private ground where they do not block drivers, pedestrians or vehicle sight lines. A lawn stake needs workable soil; it is not a mount for pavement. Walk the lot from the customer's approach before deciding how many signs each message needs.
As low as and financing claims
If a sign says as low as or advertises financing, verify the wording and required disclosures with the dealership's responsible reviewer before printing. Do not imply every buyer qualifies for a rate or that every vehicle has the advertised price. Keep the headline readable and make required terms legible at the distance where buyers can inspect them. Allow about 1 inch of letter height per 10 feet of viewing distance: 5 inch main letters for about 50 feet, or 8 inch letters for about 80 feet. Use the larger space for larger wording rather than a longer list of offers. Double sided printing helps with two approaches.
