- Heavy scrim reinforced vinyl, rated for indoor and outdoor use. Will not tear at the grommets in normal wind.

- Printed edge to edge, single sided. UV inks hold their color through 3 to 5 years of outdoor exposure.

- Every banner is hemmed for strength and fitted with brass grommets roughly every 2 ft and in every corner, at no extra charge.

- How are the grommets spaced?
- Brass grommets sit in every corner and roughly every 2 ft along the top and bottom hems. A 3 x 6 ft banner has grommets at the four corners plus two more along the top and bottom, which is enough to tie it flat without sagging.
- Can I hang it on a chain link fence?
- Yes. Fence hanging is the most common use. Run zip ties or bungee balls through the grommets and pull each corner tight. On an exposed fence, cut wind slits or step up to pole pockets so the banner sits flatter.
- What file size should I send?
- Send a PDF, PNG or JPG at full banner size, 100 DPI, with 0.25 in bleed on every edge and all text at least 1 in inside the trim. Half scale at 200 DPI also works. Our artwork guidelines page has a template for each of the six sizes.
- Do you offer double sided banners?
- Not yet. Every banner prints single sided on 13oz scrim vinyl. If you need a double sided banner, email orders@bannerology.com with the size and quantity and we will quote it.
- How long does a vinyl banner last outdoors?
- 3 to 5 years of normal outdoor exposure. Rain and sprinklers are not a problem. Constant high wind is what shortens a banner's life, so tie every grommet and consider pole pockets on exposed frontage.
